Kumankov E.I., Svidetelev E.V.

Evgeni Ivanovich Kumankov (1920-2012) is a well-known graphic artist and stage designer. In 1943 he graduated from the Art Department of VGIK and almost immediately entered the "Mosfilm". For the performances and films of Kumankov are characterized by a special influence of the Russian realistic school in the decorative arts.

Svidetelev Evgeny Vasilyevich (1921-1971) is a Russian artist. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969). In 1943 he graduated from VGIK. He made his debut with the film "Native Fields" (1945, together with EI Kumankov). The most significant works in the films "Sadko" (with EI Kumankov), "The Cranes Are Flying", "The Wind", "The Northern Narrative", "Twenty-Six Baku Commissars".
