Karvovsky Alexey Vasilievich

Decorator. Emigrated to France. He worked in French decorative ateliers, painted scenery for cinema. Made screensavers for books, prints and illustrations. In the early 1930s he exhibited still lifes and portraits in the Salon of the Independent. Participant of the exhibition of the Parisian group of Ukrainian artists in Lviv (1933). In 1945-1947 he participated in exhibitions of Russian artists and sculptors organized by the Union of Soviet Patriots. Took part in the annual exhibition Beaux-Arts et Arts Décoratifs in Asnieres (1950), two of the artist's works from this exhibition were bought by Paris. Personal exhibition took place at the Sèvres Gallery in 1955.
