Kononov Maria

Maria Kononov was born in 1997, in the United States. She began to paint when she was three years old and her first exhibition took place in Brussels when Maria was only eight. Despite the youth, she already had more than 30 personal exhibitions in major cities around the world, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, London, Paris, Vienna, Amsterdam, Milan, Rome, Bologna, New York, Melbourne, and many others. In 2015, Maria became the youngest member of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS). In 2017, Maria had her personal exhibition at the Biennale di Venezia, Palazzo Zenobio. So, to no surprise, her works are now found in private collections all over the globe. The oeuvre of the young artist is extremely varied – she paints pictures, illustrates books and calendars, creates sculptures, designs clothes. Maria also works with theaters.
