Kulkov Vladislav Sergeevich

Contemporary Russian artist. In 2008 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Arts and Industry named after A. L. Stieglitz. In 2005-2008 he studied under the “Visual Arts” program of the St. Petersburg charitable foundation for culture and art “PRO ARTE”. In 2010, he entered graduate school at the State Russian Museum. Since 2006 he has been participating in group exhibitions and projects in Russia and abroad, and since 2008 he has been holding personal exhibitions. Participant of special projects within the framework of the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art in 2007, 2011, 2013, 2015. Participant in the program of the European Biennale of Contemporary Art “Manifesta-10” (2014), the “Current Drawing” projects at the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg). In 2017 and 2018, he was included in the Russian investment art rating 49ART, representing outstanding contemporary artists under the age of 50. The artist’s works are presented in the collections of MMOMA, the State Tretyakov Gallery, and the State Russian Museum.
