Lemkul Fedor Viktorovich (1914-1995)

Artist, graphic artist, illustrator. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. At the beginning of his career he worked in the children's magazines "Murzilka" and "Pioneer". The first books he illustrated were "The Tale of the Tram" by S. Baruzdin and "My Serpent" by M. Karem. Designed books for the publishing houses "Children's Literature", "Progress", "Baby". In total, he illustrated over 130 books. Repeated winner of the All-Union Book Art Competitions (1964, 1965, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1974, 1975), the International Book Art Competition Exhibition (IBA) in Leipzig (1965).
