Rozhdestvenskiy Vladimir Leonidovich (1897 - 1949)
Honored thin. UzSSR, graphic artist, painter. A native of Russia, since 1923 he lived in Uzbekistan. In the twenties he worked in the field of poster, magazine graphics, together with M. Kurzin, L. In 1931, the first exhibition of the fine arts of Uzbekistan was held in Moscow; it presented the works of Usto-Mumin, V.L. Rozhdestvensky, S. Malt, V. Eremyan, A. Volkov, P. Benkov.
In the years 1938-1943. Rozhdestvensky often worked in the technique of lithography, excellent works on the theme of pre-revolutionary Uzbekistan, the construction of the Ferghana canal.
