Graphic artist. People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts, honorary member of the Smolensk organization of the VTOO "Union of Artists of Russia", professor at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin. Graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin (1959). Famous works: a series of colored linocuts "1941-1945" (1958-1959), "Admiralty" (1964), "Seamen of the Baltic" (1965), "Populists" (1969), "Paris Commune" (1970- 1971), "Rural life" (1973-1975), "Decembrists" (1975), "Century Х1Х - century ХХ" (1966-1994), "World of planet Earth" (1983-1984), "My poor Russia" ( 1989-2003), variations on a theme by Shakespeare in the cycle "Two" (2001-2002).
