Snegur Igor Grigorievich (Born in 1935).

Abstract artist. Member of the Russian Academy of Arts since 2016. In 1949 he entered the Machine Tool College in Moscow, after which he was sent to work at a factory in Serpukhov. Participated in more than 50 exhibitions, including the first exhibitions of abstract artists in Moscow (1958), in the 1960s. in the studio of E. M. Belyutin "New Reality". In 1962, after an article by academician V. Kibrik in the newspaper "Moscow Artist" I. Snegur, for a book in the publishing house "Kid", "Moscow Children", was designated as a formalist. From 1964 to 1965 he lives and works in Tarusa. In 1966, he designed the play “Trace to trace” by E. Verigo in the city of Tula, introduces color music and pantomime into the performance. In 1975, the artist's works were presented at the opening day of avant-garde artists in the "Beekeeping" pavilion at VDNKh. His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
