Tyapushkin Alexei Aleksandrovich (1919-1988)
Soviet artist. Hero of the Soviet Union. Member of the Union of Artists. In the studio of military artists. Grekov, showed his front-line sketches and received a letter of recommendation to the institute. In 1951 he successfully graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. Surikov. In 1954, an exhibition of works by young Moscow artists from Moscow and the Moscow region opened in Moscow, where A. Tyapushkin exhibited his works for the first time. Since 1957 he worked in the field of easel painting, traveled a lot around the country. Since the early 1960s engaged in abstract art, known as a follower of non-conformist direction. Since 1964, his works have been exhibited at international exhibitions in England, USA, Poland. Participated in all exhibitions of Moscow artists - veterans of the Great Patriotic War. In 1974, he was a spectator at the 1st autumn viewing of paintings "in the open air" in Belyaevo, known as the "bulldozer exhibition", and was the first of the arrested artists. In 1980, the first personal exhibition opened in Moscow. His works are in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
