Chtak Valery Sergeevich

Russian conceptual artist. Since 1998, he took part in the project “School of Contemporary Art” by Avdey Ter-Oganyan. From 2000 to 2008 he participated in the art group “Radek Society”. Since 2002, he has been participating in group and personal exhibition projects in Russia and abroad. In 2011 he participated in the 4th Moscow Biennale. In 2012 he was nominated for the Innovation Award. In 2016, he entered the top ten of the Top 20 most influential artists in Russian art. In 2016, he was included in the rating “Top 10 +1 and 50: the most notable young artists” according to The Art Newspaper Russia. In 2017 and 2018, he was included in the Russian investment art rating 49ART, representing outstanding contemporary artists under the age of 50. The artist’s works are in the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the State Tretyakov Gallery, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
