She has been participating in exhibitions in Latvia and abroad since 1971. She worked at the Riga Porcelain Factory from 1966 to 1979, started with a modeling workshop, then as a sculptor in an art laboratory. In 1980 Vera Weissa took part in the International Symposium of Medalist Artists in Hungary.
