*Kaplyansky Boris Evseevich

Sculptor. He studied painting with Kuzma Sergeevich Petrov-Vodkin, but then moved to the sculpture class of Alexander Terentyevich Matveev. Beginning in 1929, Kaplyansky Boris Evseevich regularly participated in Soviet art exhibitions. After the end of the war Kaplyansky Boris Evseevich was engaged in active artistic and teaching activities, and also often engaged in sculptural decoration of various memorials and monuments. B.E. Kaplyansky was a member of the "Circle of Artists" art association, also in the Union of Artists of the RSFSR.
