Stamp by VASILY AGAFONOV, MOSCOW, 1896/1908. The lid and base are decorated with two fantastic hatched pink birds framing a central floral motif surrounded by swirling foliage painted in shaded polychrome enamel, on an olive green base with white beads around the edges, thumb and gilt inner part. Weight 162 grams.
