Signed and dated lower left. Certificate of P.M. Tretiakov Independent Research Examination. This portrait took part in the anniversary exhibition of K.A. Somov in 1969 at the State Russian Museum. In the catalog of this exhibition there is a desktop work. N.S. Poznyakov himself was the first to mention it. Then the work of origin in the collection of G.S. Torsuev and in the 1960s passed into the collection of the literary critic and translator Evgeny Anatolyevich Gunst (1901-1993).
