Paevsky Yan (Ivan) (second half of the 19th - first half of the 20th centuries)

Artist-painter of Polish origin. Lived and worked in Russia, the Caucasus, and Georgia. In the 1910s he lived and taught in Sukhumi at the Teachers' Gymnasium. He took part in exhibitions of the Caucasian Society for the Promotion of Fine Arts. One of the founders of the Mutual Help Society of Caucasian Artists.
