October 21 in the gallery Sovcom opens pre-auction exhibition Auction 188, which will be held November 21 at 19.00. More than 150 lots will be presented at the auction - paintings, graphics, as well as porcelain and bronze sculptures.
The top lots of the upcoming auction include, exhibited at the exhibition, canvases from the string of Russian art, among which are the grandiose work "Easter. After the Liturgy" by G.A. Lapshin, rosy peasant women by F.V. Sychkov, "View of the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius" by P.I. Petrovichev, as well as genre works by I.S. Kazakov and P.N. Gruzinsky.
The art of the second half of the 20th century is represented in the auction by the works of outstanding Soviet artists: D.A. Nalbandyan, B.V. Shcherbakov, V.M. Sidorov, Ya.M. Khaimov, N.M. Romadin, M.G. Abakumov, D.D. Zhilinsky and M.P. Konchalovsky. In addition, the auction includes works by the founders of the Severe Style: G.M. Korzhev, V.E. Popkov, I.P. Obrosov, P.P. Ossovsky and N.I. Andronov.
A significant section of the auction is represented by paintings depicting views of Crimea by K.A. Vyalov and S.V. Gerasimov, as well as artists of the Crimean school of painting, including V.P. Tsvetkova, Ya.A. Basov and F.Z. Zakharov.
In the upcoming auction, attention is drawn to a large string of vintage photography, including pictures of leading Soviet photojournalists: A.M. Rodchenko, E.N. Evzerikhin, V.V. Mikosha, Ya.N. Khalip, M.V. Alpert and E.A. Khaldey.
The pre-auction exhibition will be held from October 21 to November 20 at st. Shchepkina, 28.
