Ganelin Alexandr Lazarevich

After graduating from the Krasnopresnenskaya Art School Alexandr Ganelin studied at the Art faculty of the State Film Institute (VGIK). Later on he studied at the Betzalel Academy of Art, Jerusalem. After graduating he worked for various film studios. From 1980 on, Alexandr Ganelin has participated in exhibitions in Moscow (Moscow Branch of Artist Union – MOSKh, House of Artist at Kuznetsky most, Manege) as well as in Poland, Morocco, India, Great Britain, Germany, USA and Canada. He emigrated to Israel in 1991. Ganelin’s one-man shows took place in Beit-Daniel, Tel-Aviv and Tevel Art Gallery, Montréal. The artist’s works are in a number of private collections.
