Grebenshchikov Yevgeniy Semenovich (1918, Kazakhstan - 1997).
Soviet poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He graduated from the Alma-Ata Art College (1939). Created posters for advertising ("Izhevsk source", 1936). Since 1947, he also worked on political posters (“Long live the 32nd anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution!”, 1949, “Glory to excellent calculation!”, 1950). Grebenshchikov’s propaganda poster “Read, envy, I am a citizen of the Soviet Union!”, 1967 is also known. Most of all, the artist worked on advertising posters for feature films for the Reklamfilm publishing house: School of Courage, 1954, Noble Nest, 1969, Communists ", 1969, "The Dawns Here Are Quiet", 1972, "At their own request", 1973, "Torpedo bombers", 1983, "Optimistic tragedy", 1987, "Circus", 1947, "Foundling", 1949. For the publishing house Glavkinoprokat made the poster “Kotovsky”, 1951. Grebenshchikov’s circulation posters are in the collection of the RSL, the funds of the Central Museum of Military Forces of the Russian Federation, the Museum of Cosmonautics, private Russian and foreign collections.
