Ivlev Pavel Filatovich

Ivlev Pavel Filatovich (1901-1991)

Soviet graphic designer who worked in various fields of applied art in the post-war period: from sketches of posters and candy packaging, to the design of performances and metro stations. He is known as the author of universal covers of the Leningrad record factory. In 1931, he graduated from the Art and industrial College. One of the main and significant works for him is a series of sketches for Homer's "Odyssey", work on which was interrupted by the war.
