Ignatiev Petr Aleksandrovich

A gifted St. Petresburg painter. Studied at Leningrad Art School in 1953-1963. Entered the I.Repin Art College where studied from 1963 to 1964 and later continued his education there in 1966-1971 at Korolev’s workshop. Was recommended to the Higher Art Courses at the Academy of Arts in Leningrad. Began exhibiting in 1971. A participant of the All-Union Art Shows since 1971. His work “Chemistries” (1975) was awarded the Comsomol Central Committee diploma, the Ministry of Culture diploma and the Artists’ Union of the Russian Federation diploma (1976). His works are exhibited at the History Museum and at the Academy of Fine Arts Museum in St. Petersburg.
