Kukshiev Boris Kirillovich

A painter and graphic artist. Graduated Leningrad State Teacher’s Institute named after A.I. Gertsen in 1977. Exhibited in Petrozavodsk, in Moscow (1989), in exhibitions “Soviet North” (Syktyvkar, 1979; Novgorod, 1984), “Artists of North” (Murmansk, 1989), “Russian North” (Kirov, 1998), in German Democratic Republic (1983, 1985), in Finland (1987). Kukshiev’s one-man shows took place in Petrozavodsk and in Federal Republic of Germany both in 1992. The artist’s works are kept in Fine Art Museum of the Republic of Karelia, in the Museum of local lore of the Republic of Karelia, in the State Open-Air Kizhi Museum.
