Klyukin Oleg Pavlovich (1929 – 2002).
Honoured artist of RF, awarded Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR Citation for achievements in Fine Arts. Born in Vasilevo village (Chkalovsk town) in Nizhnii-Novgorod region. In 1946 enrolled in Yaroslavl fine arts college. In 1949 exchanged into Gorkii fine arts college, which he graduated in 1951. From that year participated in picture exhibitions. Active in Groznii city in 1952-1965. In 1957 took part in World Festival of Youth in Moscow as a Checheno-Ingushskaya ASSR member. In 1960 was admitted as a member of USSR Union of Artists. In 1965 exchanged into Moscow branch of RSFSR Union of Artists and moved to Noginsk town. In the closing stages of his life O.P. Klyukin was active up Volga near old Russian town Gorodets, where the artist created a string of pictures on peasant theme, many landscapes and still life.
