Kominarets Igor Aleksandrovich

Soviet graphic artist, poster artist, illustrator. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Known as the author of popular posters on sociopolitical and sports themes. He received his art education at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). Collaborated with publishing houses IZOGIZ, "Art", "Poster", "Enlightenment", engaged in book and magazine illustrations, created sketches of postage stamps and postcards. The posters of I. Kominarts are kept in the collections of the Russian State Library (RSL), the Russian National Library (NLR), the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, and in private collections in Moscow and London.
