Logutov Vladimir (Born 1980)
Contemporary Russian artist, curator, teacher. Organizer and member of the Laboratory group. Works with video art and video installation, makes objects and sculptures, painting and graphics.
In 2001 he graduated from the Samara Art School, in 2006 from the Samara Pedagogical University (Faculty of Fine Arts and Decorative Arts). In 2005 he received an independent art scholarship to study in Germany from Stuttgarter kunstverein e.v. (Stuttgart, Germany).
Two-time nominee for the Kandinsky Prize, two-time nominee for the Innovation Award, two-time nominee for the Black Square Award.
In 2017 and 2018, he was included in the Russian investment art rating 49ART, representing outstanding contemporary artists under the age of 50.
Participant of numerous group exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including the First and Second Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, the 4th Triennial in Guangzhou (2012), “Russia 21. Contemporary Russian Art”. Pinchuk Art Center (2009), “MODUS R” - “Russian Formalism Today” as part of Art Basel Miami Beach (2006).
The artist's works are in large public and private collections, such as the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the FRAC Bretagne Museum and others.
