Mylnikov Andrey Andreevich (1919, Saratov Region - 2012, St. Petersburg).
Full member of the USSR Academy of Arts (since 1966), National artist of the USSR (si 1976).
A double Laureate of the State prize of the USSR (1951, 1977), a Laureate of Len prize (1984), a Laureate of the State prize of the RSFSR named after I. Repin. A painter, a sculptor. In childhood, he studied at an art studio under K.S.Petrov-Vodkin, at Institute of Art, Sculture and Architecture, at the faculty of architecture, under G.I. Kotov, Nickolsky, L.V. Rudnev. Was much influenced by I.E. Grabar. The artist much devoted himse creation of monumental productions, created Lenin^s portrait for curtain at The Kremlin Pa of Congresses, mosaic and wall-paintings for Leningrad TUZ (The Theatre of Young Viev participated at wall-painting decoration of Leningrad subway and public buildings. In 1974-1 he visited Spain, which was resulted in creation of "Spain" triptych, which brought the artis the award of golden medal, presented by the USSR Academy of Arts.
