Novikov Alexey Ivanovich

Painter. Non-conformist artist. Since 1969 Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts. Veteran of the Great Patriotic War. Graduated from the Republican Art School named after I. Repina (1962), studied at the Academy of Arts of the Latvian USSR (Riga). Works in the genres of portrait, still life, landscapes, thematic paintings. Since 1964 Participant of exhibitions in Russia and abroad (England, Italy, Singapore, Turkey, France, Germany, Poland). The works of the author are presented in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the exhibition hall of the Art Museum named after K. Brynkush, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
