Rotach Alexander Lukich (1893-1990)

Leningrad artist, architect, member of the Union of Architects of the USSR. Around 1910 he performed drawings during the construction of the royal residence in Livadia. A multi-talented person, he worked in several areas of art, was a popular artist of the 1930s. His drawings with views of the Crimea, Leningrad, Pavlovsk were very popular. He was repressed and imprisoned in the 1930s. Later he made an invaluable contribution to the preservation and restoration of architectural monuments of St. Petersburg. His works are kept in domestic museums.
