Sokolova Olga Aleksandrovna

Painter, graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1916–1918 she studied at the Moscow State University in the department of philosophy and art history under B.Vipper, A.Sidorov, and from 1918–26 she studied at the Moscow Higher Art and Technical Institute –VHUTEIN under A. Drevin, I. Mashkov, N. Udaltsova, A. Shevchenko. Since 1929 - exhibitor. In 1928-1930, a member of the art association "Growth". The works of O. A. Sokolova are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in private collections.
