Sudeykin Sergey Yuryevich

In 1897-1902 studied at Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In 1909 entered Academy of Arts in Petersburg. Started creative activity with participation in “Scarlet rose” exhibition, held in Saratov in1904. Since 1905 worked in Moscow Experimental Theater-Studio, decorating the performance of V. Mayerhold. Since 1911 became a member of “World of Art” union. Scenography greatly influenced his easel works. The attitude of “Silver age” representatives was reflected in Sudeykin’s works, realized in dramatization, in deletion of borders between scene and life, reality and fiction. The artist’s works are exhibited in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections.
