Shelkovenko Konstantin Karpovich

Soviet painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Born in Snegirevka (Ukraine). In 1940 he graduated from the Moscow Art and Pedagogical School in memory of 1905. K.K. Shelkovenko painted landscapes, portraits, still lifes. In his early work, there are industrial motifs that reflect the changes in life rising from the military devastation of the country. Thematic still lifes brought the greatest fame to the artist.
