Exhibition

The exhibition "Crimean Landscape sale" is open from August 19 to September 9.

For several centuries, the natural beauty of Crimea has inspired writers, artists and composers. Fascinated by the local landscapes, Anton Chekhov wrote: "It's good in Crimea, so good that I can't even say. I'm already thinking about whether we should all move to Crimea." For those who cannot yet follow Anton Pavlovich's suggestion, there is a unique opportunity to see the extraordinary views of the peninsula at the "Crimean Landscape" exhibition in the Sovkom gallery.

The exhibition presents works by Crimean masters of the second half of the 20th century, including People's Artists of the Ukrainian SSR Pyotr Stolyarenko, Gennady Brusentsov and Valentin Bernadsky, one of the founders of the "Crimean School" of painting.

Visitors to the gallery will be able to see sunny views of Yalta and magnificent floral still lifes by the classic of Crimean impressionism Valentina Tsvetkova. In addition, the exhibition presents landscapes by students of V.D. Bernadsky, who graduated from the Crimean Art School named after N.S. Samokish: Seaside Park by Sergei Bakaev and grape harvesting at Zolotaya Balka by Pavel Miroshnichenko.

Among other works exhibited in the gallery are Crimean views by Vasily Kucherovsky, Pavel Mossakovsky, Nikolay Gorlov and a Gurzuf beach by Igor Radoman.

The exhibition is open from August 19, 2024 at the Sovkom Gallery at the address: Moscow, st. Shchepkina, 28, from 10.00 to 18.00.
