Description:
On the base is a printed stamp: the State Emblem and the image of St. George the Victorious, enclosed in an oval, with the inscription "Фабрик. Гарднеръ в Москве", dark red on biscuit, the inscription "Гарднер", made in mass. The figure is part of the famous series "Peoples of Russia", produced at the Gardner factory since the 1870s. A similar statuette is published in the book "Gardner XVIII-XIX. Porcelain sculpture", Moscow, Publishing House, "Govorov and Sons". 2002. Page 179.
