There will be more than 100 paintings of Soviet and Russian masters of Soviet era taking part in the exhibition, which will be held at SOVCOM Auction house’s gallery and will be open from November 1.

Auction № 14 "Russian art of the XX century" will be held on October 20, 2016 at 19:00 in SOVCOM auction house.

A new exhibition will feature the masterpieces of monumental and historical genre produced by a unique creative team called Grekov War Artists’ Studio. Works of diverse topics cover the 1930s-1970s.
You will be able to see many iconic pictures ranking among the best ones in Russian art. The works are dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War. They were frequently reproduced in periodic press, their reproductions being printed in thousands.

The exhibition called “From long journey…” will be opened in the exhibition hall of “Sovcom” gallery on the 1st of April. Works of museum level will be presented in the exposition, many of these works have not been presented for several decades. These are works of Alexander Benois, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky, Leonard Turzhansky, Konstantin Gorbatov.

This exhibition is a logic sequel to our previous project Soviet painting. Socialist realism, which aroused an avid interest among our clients, both established and new ones. We have expanded it by including all 156 lots of the upcoming evening sale on March 31 with a telling name “Auction. Soviet painting”. We have added to the Soviet Drawing section a lot of book and poster layouts, which can be seen straight in folders now, as well as mass-printed and original drawings. In our opinion, it will be especially exciting for collectors because sometimes you can see the artist’s sketches or comments overleaf. Most of these remarkable pictures were printed on postcards and in books published in the USSR. We post information about many such discoveries on our Facebook page. Another important section is Soviet sport.

An exhibition and sale featuring paintings and drawings of the Russian and Soviet artists of the 20 century opens on November 9, 2015 at Sovcom Auction House.

The 39th Russian Antique Salon opened atthe Central House of Artists in Moscow. The organizers marked a growing interest in social realism on the art market with a special exhibition. Four galleries occupied a large space of Hall No.14, which was not separated by stands.

The exhibition features different painting genres of the 1930-s-1980s. Top names and original local painters; many works are on show for the first time.

We decided to do an exhibition under such an unusual name for our permanent and possibly future customers. More than 200 of graphic works and paintings by Russian and Soviet artists working in the twentieth century are presented , they are all for sale.
